If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay in florence at the de lanzi hotel you’ll find the romantic atmosphere of an ancient florentine house. all our hotel bedrooms are provided with fine furniture particular to the florentine style of the 16th century and are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities such as air conditioning, satellite tv set, and direct dial phone, safe and private bathroom with hairdryer. a lot of the rooms overlook the cathedral. the lanzi family and the multilingual hotel staff will be pleased to personally take care of their guests arranging visits and tours to florence, siena, s.giminiano, pisa or the chianti area, and providing for museum tickets reservation, laundry service and garage service (cars are withdrawn and given back at the hotel). the de lanzi hotel is next to the duomo square at a few steps from signoria square, ponte vecchio, uffizi gallery, and the most prestigious shopping areas. it takes just a few minutes on foot to reach the railway station.

Transportation
To come to the hilda easily, take the exit firenze sud (if you come from the north, continue to rome to find the exit).at the traffic light a few minutes after the toll, turn left and go ahead on the main road for a few minutes, even when it turns slightly on the right at the traffic light in front of the hotel mediterraneo, on you right side.pass on the square with the medieval tower in the middle, at the second square, with a small historical cemetery in the middle, turn around the cemetery as to go back. once you are on the other side of the cemetery, turn right at the traffic light (directions to the hospital s. maria nuova and to the centre) and then:first on the rightfirst on the leftfirst on the rightfirst on the leftstraight down to the end of the street, then right and again the first on the right. you are arrived in via dei servi. the hilda is at the very end, on the other way hand, so, once at the stop, turn right and immediately left, left and left again. we are right in front of the self service washanddry (green and white sign).feel free to call me anytime for further directions.
